vodafone...

Well after about a year or so using 3, I have moved over to Vodafone.

Although things looked good with 3 to start off with, with features such as my3, content available, inclusive media messages/videos. It all started going down hill quickly after I realised why I left them back in 2003, fundamental problems still existed within the company.

Although the handsets had improved, and network coverage also had improved. Not much else! Same shoddy customer service was still there amongst other things! The amount of problems I had with the 3 call centre was ridiculous and I'm glad to be away from it all.

Also recently calls, were missed/dropped texts couldn't send.. response from 3. "Coverage is of high quality in your area, move to a window" and the most amusing was "Would you like to upgrade your phone" oh dear oh dear... just remember sometimes you pay for what you receive and 3 is most certainly a company that does that!

ntl...

Well I've finally taken the plunge, I have changed from BT to ntl: (soon to be virgin media or whatever) the price is very good. Phone, tv and broadband for £30 which compared to BT is a bargain!

So far all is good, the install went fine broadband no problems with so far, and tv is better quality than freeview by a mile and probably better than Sky as far as I can tell. Hopefully this will continue and it will be interesting to see what 2007 will bring us with virgin media

Now this is seriously what you need, on one of my "not so frequent" visits to my local Wetherspoons.. honest! I came across Kopparberg its a Swedish cider.. and damn does it taste beautiful (If drinks could!!) Comes in 3 flavours, blackberry, apple and pear.

If you dont like cider which is like me, give one of these a try as you would never know its cider, this just tastes like you are drinking Ribena! So try it if you see it and remember have it in a glass and ice for the full experience!

Norwich City payout to Nigel Worthington raises important questions

When Norwich City were under pressure from fans to get rid of Nigel Worthington less than 12 months ago, Norwich City reacted angrily to suggestions that they were only keeping Worthington on because it would cost too much to get rid of him.

At the time, Norwich declined to say how long his contract was (EDP report HERE from last November), but now it has been revealed that Wothington has received a £600,000 payout leaves me, as a season ticket holder, wondering just how long his contract was and when was it signed ? Read about the £600,000 payout HERE.

If Worthington was receiving £4,000 a week, this would mean that he still had three full years left on his contract when he was sacked just a couple of months ago.

This is no critisism of Nigel Worthington. If he is owed it, then he deserves it. However, if he did have that long left on his contract, then it is astonishing and in my view a sign of some poor decision making at the top of the club.
